Linus on Linux, tonight 6:30pm in 2/413. $5 admission to cover the
room. I don't think either AUUG or SLUG would mind if a few ProgSoc
members turned up.

Subject: Linus visit

In conjunction with AUUG, the Sydney Linux User's Group presents
a talk by Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux operating system.

The talk will be held on Friday evening, September the 16th, at the
University of Technology in Sydney, in room 413 in building
2 at 6.30 pm. The is the same building where SLUG meetings are held, and is
next to the tower building.

As the room must be paid for, there is a charge of $5. There is a limit
of 200 for the venue.

The following day, Saturday 17th September, SLUG has arranged a harbour trip
with Linus. This trip leaves from Man'O'War wharf near the Opera
House at 11:10am, goes to Shark Island for a picnic, then returns to
the Man O' War wharf by 3:15. Cost $25 each, tickets and details
available from Jamie Honan, jhonan@nospam.jolt.mpx.com.au

Please let Jamie know by email if you want to come along and he'll
hold tickets for you. You can pay at the talk.

See you tomorrow night!
