Why is progsoc called progsoc? (besides the fact that progsoc is short
for programmers' society) Why this name and not some other? I know
there are historical reasons, but I'd like to know why the name progsoc
was originally chosen. It couldn't be the simple contraction prog-soc,
could it? (humour for the humour impaired)
