Once upon a time, Chris Keane - Chief ENS Pointyhead was heard to say:

} From: Colin.Panisset@nospam.nms.otc.com.au (Colin Panisset)
} > Yeah, but I wasn't talking about leasing an entire AARNet connection to
} > the States -- instead, I was talking about how much of a pipe Microplex

}
} That's easy, 48k on satellite for both halves, assuming you get good rates
} for the Guam -> Sydney (or Hawaii -> Sydney) half from MCI or AT&T. The
} Telecom half (the other way) is by definition expensive.

I've got a salesdroid trying to find out Things for me w.r.t. a leased
data-only line from Sydney to 'Frisco; namely, pricing. I expect I'll
get a range of answers. Charges will probably fluctuate wildly depending
on the time of year, expected volume and so forth.
