Subject: Addressing Mail

I've got a bit of a gripe...

I am sending mail from a userid that is not the one subscribed to
the ProgSoc list. All progsoc mail from the list is, however, forwarded
to this address.

Most times that people have replied to mail I've sent to the list, the
To: field has this non-subscribed address (pmeric@nospam.vnet.ibm.com), and the
CC: field has the progsoc list. Thus, I receive two copies of any mail
sent with these and like addressees.

I realise that this is the default addressing action of many mailers,
but it's really annoying. It's also WASTING your precious BANDWIDTH...
think of how much quicker it WWW response times would be, not to mention
that it wouldn't take 3 days to get a couple 1.5 meg files :-)

Just thought I'd point it out.
