ProgSoc and politics

What is all this rubish about ProgSoc not being political???

It is true that in the past there has not been much that ProgSoc has *Needed* to
do politically speaking, but I think we are more than a bunch of people on an
Email list. We all have a common interest, and we have constant discussion of the
important issues that effect us. We, as a group, are at least as entitled to
comment on political matters that concern us as any other group.

For example, I would support (if it was done in some democratic manner) the president
sending a letter to a body expressing our concerns (pressure groups can be quite
effective).

Please don't let the fact that we are part fo the Union stop the society from doing
anything political- they really don't care if we march at the Domain.

That's my 2c worth

Cheers
Chris
