Des,

Further to our telephone conversation, expectations for the work would be as
follows. Would appreciate a quick turnaround

Purpose:

To check, clean viruses from desktops at ANSTO, and install anti virus
software at the desktop level.

The site:

A mixture of PCs (DOS, Windows, Windows 95, NT with DOS Partitions, Pure
NT), Macs, Unix

No of Devices: -unknown, but estimated at 500-800

(Note that Unix is not being covered this time around)

Timing:

Start as soon as possible, ie next week

Estimate it would take in the order of 3-4 weeks for 2 people, but this
would be extended if required.

The Team:

Have found the best arrangement is to have 2 people working together on
this. WE can be flexible as to whether its 2 @nospam. 5 days a week, 4 @nospam. 2.5 days
a week etc ...

Supervision and support would be provided by ANSTO.

Rates of Pay:

Say $20 an hour

The Steps:

1. check for virus - use McAffee\Invircable
2. remove virus
3. install Virus detection software McAffee\Invircable
4. test virus software is operational and desktop boots up
5. explain to client what has been done
6. Mark the desktop as having been done
7. Recheck for virus infestation
8. Move to next device
