[ProgSoc] Netscape or IE

Hi,

We're developing a new web site at work. Currently it looks fine on IE4.
We're looking to make it look good in Netscape as well. But we're not
sure whether it's worth an effort to make it Netscape compatible or not
and what needs to be changed to make things work for both browsers.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any "objective" surveys or studies on
these two browsers in terms which one is best ( rendering wise that is )
and which is the most used browser in the world ( or in Australia would
do ). We're also looking for a list of things that work in which browser
so we know what to change ( rather than just try different tags and see
which works on which, it's quite time consuming ).

Any suggestions or references would be greatly appreciated.
