Progsoc currently uses majordomo for list management and uses MHonArc
to do the last few years of archiving. The main reason for choosing
MHonArc is that it properly handles MIME attachments and HTML.
It also has functions which make it relatively simple to handle modifying
history ^W^Wfixing up the archive. Last I looked, last year, pipermail
was similiar to hypermail and didn't do well at all with MIME.

Being listadmin for a majordomo/mailmain and smartlist site means I can
give you a good comparision. One of the nicer things about mailman is
that everything is done via the web.
One of the nicer things about majordomo is you can do everything (including
bounce approvals -- i.e. Wim could simply 'approve' bounced email rather
than forwarding it) via email. If you have to approve a lot of things on
a mailing list, majordomo would be the best to use atm.

It is relatively simple if you are having problems post them to the
list and perhaps I can help.
