[ProgSoc] switching SCSI ID's
I've got a Debian server with 3 SCSI hard drives.
Originally their ID's were 1,2,4. (All on the same Channel)
Disk ID's 1 and 4 were fine and operational, 2 was dead, and the system
booted.
One reboot later however, and now Disk ID's 1 and 2 are operational, and 4
is dead, and LILO craps itself as a result "L 01 01 01 01"...
There was no config change or system update/software installation between
the previous state and current state. All that happened was the box was
rebooted.
I've verified that the disk that was previously Disk ID 4 is now Disk ID
2, so what seems to have happened is that the Disk ID's have been swapped
around.
Any ideas as how to fix this, or does this necessitate a rebuild? I
haven't had any experience with SCSI til now so its all fun and games.
Cheers,
Andi.
