Yes unfortunately RFC-822 does not specify the recipient of a message
=within= a list. This is a feature the long-dead Fidonet had.

What would be better suggested to Firebird developers, is an aggregation
of messages that are intended for you, on a public list, and highlighting
them as one combined message.

Then, develop something new like a header X-List-Recipient that shows who
is being spoken to, when a list message is generated.

Until that happens, there will be redundancy in the messages being sent
out to the list as well as to the recipient.
