highly recommended), an obscene number of docos, plus of course the
Losts and BG's of the TV world (aka The Essentials).)

 Also recommending uknova.com -- a registration-required site, but
no $'s involved. They have some superb stuff coming through, and a
nice interface that gives you much more insight into whether you'd be
interested in a given programme than, say, mini or bite or isohunt.

I gather it can be a hard site to sign up to (fixed number of users)
but they expire people after 20 days inactivity or something, so you
can get on there if you put some effort into it. Konqueror's got a
nice feature to auto-refresh a web page, which makes these things
 easier.

Completely from scratch? Nice. Design will be available .. when? ;)

Recently had the willies scared out of me wrt PVC -- there's a theory
among the kinds of people that tend to be right about these things,
that it'll be the new asbestos. The fumes that come out of the stuff
are meant to be very uncool. All the more worrying given that no
plumber I've ever met knows how to work with the alternatives (and
precious few places sell alternatives) and consequently you find it
used in the plumbing in just about every house in the country. If
it's going to be near a heat source, you may want to use some galv
 pipe instead.
