Re: [ProgSoc] [JobSoc] Experienced Developer Wanted @ Tilefile

Hold on; this isn't some Original Web Concept involving Organic
Artificial Intelligence and a Java client is it?

Disclosure: I work for Tilefile :)

The Company:

Financially healthy start-up which has been working for the last two
years on a product for content sharing and social networking. You can
check out a preliminary version of the software [1], but keep in mind
that there's more to Tilefile than a browser-based client. Come in for
an interview and you'll get a glimpse at some of our other endeavours.

What We Want:

Rather than list prerequisites, I'll state what we're using at the
moment:

* Python, Ruby and Perl for the web-service
* Actionscript 2/3 and J2ME for the client(s)
* MySQL for data persistence
* Erlang / Stomp for message queueing
* Ubuntu as the platform
* Slack for configuration management

With that in mind, you'll need to be capable of moving between different
disciplines as necessary. Please don't apply if you only know one
language and you're incapable of learning others.

The Package:

Decent pay, provision for options (either negotiated through the initial
contract, or given over time), flexible hours etc. There's also plenty
of after-hours fun to be had too.

Contact me directly if you're interested.

Cheers,
