Ahem, could you do that by word count rather than message count? :)
Oh fine, now without the source attached:
OK. Now count the ideas. Then tell me what they're worth.
I added a bit to keep track of all words which weren't in the dictionary
and track who said them, but it turned out to be very boring. Here are
edited highlights of the least-frequently-written words (=only occurring
once) in the thread and their authors:
neo jj5@xxxxxxx
meh marauder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
textas jj5@xxxxxxx
splashproof marauder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
demongraphic curious.jp@xxxxxxxxx
Dum hailey_jane_settineri@xxxxxxxxxxx
27s_hierarchy_of_needs jj5@xxxxxxx
jj5 jj5@xxxxxxx
curmudgeonsock wzdd@xxxxxxxxxxx
megger johnston@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
auteur curious.jp@xxxxxxxxx
embuggerance marauder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

... so I then got it to print unique words as a percentage of word count, but this is unfairly biased towards those who typed very few words total, and seems a bit high in general:
Unique words as percentage of wordcount
raz@xxxxxxxxxxx 41.8
ginevra.martin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 79.5
jj5@xxxxxxx 31.6
3trk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 83.0
hailey_jane_settineri@xxxxxxxxxxx 49.3
curious.jp@xxxxxxxxx 72.8
wzdd@xxxxxxxxxxx 60.3
andrew.halliday@xxxxxxxxx 88.7
johnston@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 30.4
myles@xxxxxxxxxxx 91.1
gkopff@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 63.8
brian.lim@xxxxxxxxxx 100.0
marauder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 52.4
jedd@xxxxxxxxxxx 70.6
askvictor@xxxxxxxxx 54.3

... so now I'm going back to writing my presentation.
