What you've quoted doesn't really indicate whether or not they *care*
that you can watch child pornography if you opt out. They're saying that
in the context of this issue, those who advocate freedom of speech are
effectively advocating the right to watch child pornography. The fact
that it's blatant use of straw man tactics doesn't seem to phase Conroy,
which I personally find quite disappointing.
