I've had a good run with Jumba <http://jumba.com.au>:
 - .com and .com.au are $15 / year (you need to buy two years for 
   a .com.au domain, though; I'm not sure if that's standard.)
 - $30 / year for the hosting itself (so, $45 all up incl. domain).
 - 500MB space, lots of mail accounts, webmail, MySQL/Postgres, SSH.

It's a bit on the heavy side for what you're after, though; I don't
know of anything more closely matching what you need, sans the Google
Apps thingy Andi mentioned earlier.

Try Apps first, perhaps, and then move to something like the above if
it doesn't suit you.
