CodeWorks Ahead

Introducing CodeWorks: The NSW Roads Hackathon





CodeWorks <http://goo.gl/yZaeIU> is a challenge for developers,
entrepreneurs, students and tinkerers alike to design and build an app that
improves the digital experience of NSW road users. CodeWorks is an
invite-only event that will take place from *Saturday September 20th *to*
Sunday September 21st, 2014.*

Come on a code trip with us

What could you build with real-time transport data? By attending the event,
your team of up to five will receive:

   - Privileged access to real-time road, bus and train data
   - Full IP ownership of the solution developed during the event
   - Promotional support for winning teams following the event to help
   commercialise their ideas
   - CodeWorks will also be a great opportunity to network, continue to
   evolve your skills, meet new people and have a bit of fun along the way!

Information Sessions

We are also running 2 information session. Pizza will be provided, no RSVP
necessary; the session will see Transport for NSW providing some insight
into the objectives for the event, presentation from the team developing
the real-time API for the event, opportunity for Q&A as well as networking.

   - *Lunchtime session:* 12:30PM – 1:30PM Tuesday 26 August, Fishburners,
   Level 2, 608 Harris Street, Ultimo, 2007
   - *Evening session:* 5:30PM – 6:30PM Tuesday 26 August, Tank Stream
   Labs, Level 1, 17-19 Bridge Street, Sydney, 2000


How to apply

CodeWorks will be a platform to showcase your talent and creativity. Teams
of up to five can take part in the event by submitting an application using
the link below during the period of *14 August – 28 August 2014.*

A number of teams will be chosen to attend CodeWorks based on the selection
criteria
