PROGSOC RELOCATION
------------------

What: Relocation and network shutdown

When: 10am - midday tomorrow (Friday December 5)

Impact: ProgSoc's entire network will be offline for some or all of
this
period. Maybe longer.

What to do: If at all possible, turn up to 4/438 and help us move stuff
to our
new home. If not, please wait patiently until the network comes
back up.

The long awaited relocation is actually going to happen tomorrow!

Apologies for the short notice, things that we were expecting from SoCS
haven't gone to plan, so we've had to alter our plans slightly.
Nonetheless, we want to be out before demolition work begins (most
likely Monday).

The bulk of tomorrow's move is of the machines that make up the network
itself as most other things are already in place, so it should just be a
matter of turning the machines off, dismantling consoles and cabling,
wheeling the boxes into their new home, then putting it all back
together.

Nothing is ever that easy of course.

Anyway, the more people who turn up, the faster we'll get this done, so
if you're able to turn up for even part of the time, please do.

Thanks.
