Umm, yup.

I responded to Alex (who was upset about piracy) who responded to Piers
(who was upset about paying for software) who responded to a message
from the Script guys which talked about offering discount rates (i.e.
presumably the sale of product at $$$ rates that are less than their
normal rates but more than zero) on the sale of their products to
ProgSoc members. Presumably these discount rates did not apply to
Script.

As I have suggested to Alex, please remain conscious. Consider the
ENTIRE context of a message before posting to a list.
