sox (SOund eXchange) - is installed on the SoCS student machines and
converts between a number of formats including .au, WAV, Sound Blaster
VOC, Apple/SGI AIFF and more.

It doesn't look like you are a SoCS student, so you may either have to
install it yourself or ask a SoCS student nicely to do it for you :)
