well, that depends. is socsbook a progsoc project? if so, then that
_may_ be appropriate. if not, then that would probably not be appropriate.

the front webpage is a bit like a shopfront - you show what it is you're
about. if progsoc isn't involved in a project, then that project
shouldn't really be a front-page link. in fact, most information would
probably still be in user directories, but _links_ to the resources
need to be maintained.
