[ProgSoc] WinRar question
Heya, any WinRAR geeks around?
I'm looking to archive a file from directory A and put the resulting
file in directory B. Where the original file might be named:
foo.log
I want the resulting archive to be named
foo.rar
I'm using the command line version of WinRAR. Now, looking through the
docs, I can't find the commandline switch that will allow me to
preserve the filename.. I can call the archive 'backup.rar' or
'[datestamp].rar', but I want it to be called '[original
filename].rar'..
I'm sure this is easy... any ideas?
bye
