I stand corrected. JPEG is the compression system. I used to see ".jfif"
files in the early days, when people still found GIF exciting. If EXIF is
another container format, does it have any relation to that new
patent-free video container format? I think it's also called "EXF".

Oh yeah. Jedd will point out the iPod can't decode PNGs or something.
(It's interesting, because my iPhoto folder contained a few iPod-related
files).
