[ProgSoc] Re: IPSec configuration

I reinstalled kernel with several different configurations, such as IPSec-related modules compiled as modules or statically linked to start upon kernel bootup. I also read regarding kernel 2.6 configuration that 'advanced router' should not be selected during compile, because some layers during this operation apparently turns of IPSec interface momentarily (or something like that).

Currently, I have trouble outside these issues, since upon recompiling several kernels my RaLink 2500(rt2500) wireless adapter driver remains malfunctioning and in kernel 2.6 system freezes when there is a valid wireless signal.

Other than that, I tried both FreeSwan and OpenSwan(forked from FreeSwan) and perhaps because of the side issue of malfunctioning rt2500 driver, in overall, there is no absolute positive outcome as yet.

Lastly, could someone please post the full content of working version of /etc/ipsec.conf and /etc/ipsec.secrets(if this is used for authenticating)? Thanks.
